On an early fall evening I enjoyed a stroll down to a beach in Olympic National Park. I meandered down a path through rainforest and marveled at all the green vegetation. Green, green, and more green. The skies were overcast, so I did not expect any spectacular light, but as I turned a corner in the forest my mouth sprung open in surprise as I saw the sun shedding its rays in between the trees. I setup for this shot with aperture narrowed in order to capture all the fine details of the scene.
