I stood in the river watching a sow and her cub "fishing." Although fishing, they seemed to be enjoying the sunny weather, as if they were playing together, too. One would dive in for a fish, come up empty-pawed, then run through the water at full-speed, splashing water in every direction. They repeated the process over and over. I watched for ten or fifteen minutes. I felt absolute joy in watching them together. Then a moment came when they both rested and glanced in my direction. It was back to business to capture the shot.
