"Isolated"
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
1305-4-0180
During the last evening on Providenciales, I visited West Harbour at sunset, in search of something *new* to capture. Yes, the geography of The Turks and Caicos Islands is mostly flat; however it is incredible diverse, ranging from pristine white sand beaches to rough, deadly, jagged coastline. I had captured each of these variations before, and on this evening I toured this section of the island at a time I had not yet tried.... low tide. I wandered around one bend and knew instantly I had found my unique scene. The mud was deep and sticky, so I carefully wandered out to capture this isolated, lone piece of vegetation reaching out from the muck, in an incredible display that only a tropical island can provide! It was only moments later, literally seconds, rain poured down from a quick-moving storm, ending my sunset shooting in the TCI!
