A warm breeze filled the air while a distant rain squall skirted the perimeter of the area. Right at sunset, the sun peaked under the dissipating cloud deck, casting a warm glow in every direction. I lined up for this shot, capturing the deep shadows of the petrified sand, capturing the formation of a turtle crawling through the desert.
