I visited Waterton Lakes National Park for the first time this spring. No words can describe the incredible experiences of the day.... dramatic overcast skies, to pouring rainstorm, to windy conditions, and finally to a incredible light display -- All in a day's work for a photographer. This shot was captured just as the rain stopped, with the ground completely saturated. My feet were soaked, and although the air was cold, the warm light seemed to warm the soul.
Waterton Lakes National Park is in Alberta and British Columbia, situated at the extreme southern border of Canada, along the 49th Parallel with the United States. The combined Waterton Lakes and Glacier National Parks create the world's first International Peace Park.
