Shot taken from the locally-named feature called Black Rock near Lake Point, Utah. This sunset view looks off towards Stansbury Island. This vantage point used to be the location of a tourist feature, complete with boardwalks and a boat ramp. The only remains today are a few cement slabs.
Fires continue to plague Utah this summer. In the distance (left) is the smoke from multiple fires in the West Desert, adding to an already incredible sunset over the Great Salt Lake near Salt Lake City, Utah.
