My wife and I visited Arkansas in early fall and anticipated the trip to be more of a scouting adventure for future trips in the area that would be longer. As we were passing through a portion of the Ozarks, I saw this scene. I immediately turned the car around and unpacked the gear. I only took pics for a few minutes, because I knew couldn't top this one. The color added to the stillness of the water made the scene perfect.
